| Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes!

Collection Sunday at Fly is November 16
Watch this promo video.
Since 1993, over 232 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.
Participate in a variety of ways...
- Pray! Pray for the children who will receive these gift boxes. Pray for the volunteers and staff of Samaritan’s Purse as they carry out this ministry. Pray for hearts to be open to receiving the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Pack a shoebox: Use one of the shoeboxes available at church or a shoebox of your own and pack with gifts for a child. Drop off your completed box(es) at Fly. Details on how to pack a shoebox can be found at this link.
- Include a letter or photo to personalize your box: Preprinted letter forms are available at church for kids to share about themselves and include with their box.
- Build a Shoebox Online: Samaritan’s Purse will pack a box with appropriate items and send it on its way for a suggested donation of $30. Learn more here.
Click here for how to pack a shoebox.
What to pack, and what not to pack.
We have boxes and labels available at church. Fly Nazarene will cover the processing donation for boxes collected by our congregation. Anyone wishing to contribute may do so through regular offerings on any Sunday. This contribution covers shipping expenses and the ministry supplies used by OCC to share the gospel with shoebox recipients.

| Let's read the Bible together in community.
Participate with printed, electronic, or audio versions of scripture.
The reading plan takes participants through the Bible in two years with approximately ten minutes of reading per day. The plan has organized the readings into a single chronological narrative to help one gain an understanding of the overarching story of God's Word.
Bible study interweaves Old and New Testaments so that Old Testament stories, psalms, and prophecies connect as much as possible to New Testament teaching, while maintaining its original context.
Resources to help as you read
Bible Study Together App - To join the Fly Church reading group on the app, contact Michelle so she can send you the link code for our group.
Via the app you can access these resources...
- Follow the reading plan with print or audio in different translations (ESV, KJV, NASB, NLT)
- Bible study questions, a challenge, and other resources to help you reflect on the daily reading.
- Chat with our church group! Our pastors will be sharing content in the discussion group, but all participants are welcome to post.
- Prayer resource, including a prayer guide (via the app) or sharing prayers in our church chat group.
Anyone having technical difficulties with the app please contact Bro. James. If you’d like assistance in using the app, contact Michelle.
