Statement of Faith
We are Christian!
We declare a common faith with all those who believe and proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our common statement of faith is the Apostles Creed which states:
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into hades;
the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Church Universal,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
We are Holiness!
Our history and doctrine is holiness. We believe in a God whose primary character is that of holy love. We believe and emphasize the need of every born again believer to press on to holiness -- to surrender themself completely to God, to be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ, to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and to live a life pleasing to God.
We are Missional!
We exist to worship God, witness to the saving and sanctifying power of God's grace, and to go and make Christlike disciples in the nations.
