| Celebrating Advent and Christmas
You're invited to participate with us in observances of the holy seasons of Advent and Christmas.
Nov 30 Advent begins - This is a season of preparation, waiting, and anticipation for the coming of Christ. Readings and lighting of Advent Candles during Sunday morning worship. Poinsettias for the Sanctuary – Share a poinsettia between Nov 30 and Dec 21 in honor or memory of a loved one. You supply the potted plant. Forms available at church or contact Michelle Lunsford for details. Dec 3 Christmas Decorating - during Wednesday Discipleship we'll share in a devotional before making our sacred spaces festive. Kids, youth, and adults welcome. Dec 7 Worship Concert, potluck lunch, and Christmas Baskets - Debbie Mills ministers to us in word and song during the morning worship. Potluck lunch afterward. Then we prepare fruit and snack baskets for seniors and shut-ins. Church provides supplies, you're invited to help assemble baskets. Volunteers also needed to deliver baskets. This ministry is a great opportunity for the whole family to bless our community during the season. Dec 21 Christmas Program 5:30 p.m. - Scripture readings, singing carols, and children’s presentation of the Nativity. Fellowship and refreshments afterward. Please bring finger foods and drinks to share.

District event for 4th-and 5th grade students. Hosted at Park Lane Church of the Nazarene (Clarksville).
Registration is $50 and includes worship, fun activities, dinner, breakfast, and snacks. Register by Jan 1!

| Let's read the Bible together in community.
Participate with printed, electronic, or audio versions of scripture.
The reading plan takes participants through the Bible in two years with approximately ten minutes of reading per day. The plan has organized the readings into a single chronological narrative to help one gain an understanding of the overarching story of God's Word.
Bible study interweaves Old and New Testaments so that Old Testament stories, psalms, and prophecies connect as much as possible to New Testament teaching, while maintaining its original context.

Via the app you can access these resources...
- Follow the reading plan with print or audio in different translations (ESV, KJV, NASB, NLT)
- Bible study questions, a challenge, and other resources to help you reflect on the daily reading.
- Chat with our church group! Our pastors will be sharing content in the discussion group, but all participants are welcome to post.
- Prayer resource, including a prayer guide (via the app) or sharing prayers in our church chat group.
